One-a-half-hour mackerel fishing trips

This is a trip for all the family. It takes just ten minutes on the boat to get to Monkstone Point where we spend the rest of the time fishing for the shoaling mackerel – a treat for any barbecue. There is a certain amount of skill required, but it’s fun and ideal for the first-time fisherman, from the youngsters to the more mature.

All the tackle is supplied and you keep all you catch

Four-hour ‘sport’ fishing trips

This is for the more serious fisherman, who’s looking for a challenge and for ‘the big one’! The area we use is between the islands of Caldey and St Margaret’s and the mainland. Here we have a variety of different sites and fish and it’s good fun! The types of fish we might expect to catch include ray, huss, bass, dogfish, tope and conger eel.
